Personality
General Attitude: Well, Ginny is sometimes shy, but you could compare her to Double Sided Scotch Tape. Her closest friend is Hermione Granger, in whom she confides in and talks to mostly. Ginny is quite determined to do whatever she wants, and she won't hold back. Ginny doesn't seem to mind the fact that her family is poor, because her friendships make up for it. Ginny has a crush on her brother's best friend, Harry Potter. But then again, who doesn't? Ginny loves her brothers, though she finds that Ronald's bad jokes are quite strange. Ginny has a fierce attitude at times and has a great temper, but on the other hand she can be gentle and really loving.
Ginny went to the ball with Neville Longbottom, who she thinks still has a crush on her. Ginny is often at a loss for words when she speaks in front of, or to Harry. She is quite an amusing girl. She likes to study a bit like Hermione and often enjoys writing in her diary. Ginny met Michael Corner at the Yule Ball and she tends to keep her relationships as far away from Ron, or any of her brothers for that matter, as possible.
Ginny refuses to be left anywhere alone. She hates being a watch dog and loves to be in the action or fighting. Ginny really adores cats and gets along quite perfectly with Hemrione's cat, Crookshanks. She is known to be able to lure him out of his hiding spots to play with her when she wants to.
She is sarcastic like her brothers and is also very trustworthy and intelligent. She knows things that other people may not think she does. She's both book-smart and street-smart. Out of everyone in her family she probably has the most common sense. Ginny is great at keeping secrets and a great person to confide in. She often listens to her heart over her head, but knows when she should and shouldn't do that.
Ginny is usually loud and very talkative, although she knows when to keep her mouth shut and to quiet down. She is somewhat of a prankster like Fred and George, but doesn't get caught because no one would really expect her. She appears to be sweet and innocent, but this isn't always the case, especially when you make her mad. She is a little naive at times and is also a quick-thinker, creative, funny, tough and hopeful.
Overall, Ginny is a very loyal friend to anyone who chooses to befriend her. She doesn't really like Draco Malfoy that much because he mocks her a lot, but it doesn't seem to bother her. She stands up for what she knows is right.
Goals: Ginny's goal is to help the Order take down Voldemort. She also aims for sticking to Harry and helping whenever she can. When old enough, she wants to play on a quidditch team and hopefully pass Potions with a good grade.

Abilities: Ginny's strengths range from a variety of different things. For instance, she is very good with helping people and their problems. However, she can't seem to tolerate hurtful or rude people. She has a way with hexes and jinxes and can perform them rather well. Ginny has a natural ability with her wand, but even more than that. She is gifted and talented in the sport of quidditch. She is quick on her feet and very athletic. She has a great skill of leadership and is very good with about anyone. Ginny does tend to stand up for people that she knows and she speaks whatever is on her mind. She is very good with school work and loves Defense Against the Dark Arts.
Bad Habits: She often doesn't hold her tongue and speaks whatever is on her mind. It often gets her into trouble. She does have a streak of mischief in her.
Fears: She fears not being able to be together with Harry again.
Family
Parents: Molly & Arthur Weasley
Siblings: Percy, Bill, Charlie, Fred, George, and Ronald
Blood: Pureblood
Pet: Well, she uses Ron's owl, Pigwideon. Besides that, she has a pygmy puff.
Economic background: Poor, but they manage to send all their kids to Hogwarts.
History: Born August 11, 1981, Ginny Weasley was the last child and the only daughter in her family. As a young girl, Ginny's brothers never let her play quidditch. In return, she took each of their brooms out when no one was watching and would fly. Ginny met Harry in his first year at the train station. In her first year, she was shocked when she found Harry downstairs in her kitchen.
Ginny was sorted into Gryffindor, like the rest of the Weasleys before her. Ginny's crush on Harry continued although she never really talked to him. She began to become friends with Hermione Granger who was also Ron's friend. This was the year when the Chamber of Secrets was opened and Ginny was controlled by Tom Riddle through his old diary. Which was suspected to be put into her cauldron by Lucius Malfoy at Diagon Alley.
In her second and third years at school Ginny began talking to Harry a little more, even though she is still shy around him which is weird for her brothers who say she normally never shuts up. In her fourth year she joins Dumbledore's Army and lets her true, forceful personality show through. She begins dating Michael Corner, however this doesn't last because of how he reacts when Gryffindor beats Ravenclaw in Quidditch (She's the seeker). She is one of the DA members who tries in helps with Sirius Black's escape from the Department of Mysteries.
Ginny begins to catch Harry's eye toward the end of her fourth year although she begins dating Dean Thomas (To Ron's disaproval). Ginny's role consists of being a fulltime Quidditch player, love interest, and secondary heroine in the attempt to defend Hogwarts from the Death Eaters, in her fifth year of school. She does not become a prefect but the new Potions professor Horace Slughorn respects her magical abilities enough (after seeing her cast the Bat-Bogey Hex on Zacharias Smith) to invite her to join his "Slug Club", an exclusive group of students hand-picked by Professor Slughorn as promising young achievers or students from influential families. She also becomes a Chaser for the Gryffindor Quidditch Team, alongside Katie Bell and Demelza Robins and substitutes Harry as Seeker following the detention he ended up in prior to the Quidditch Final.
Ginny, along with the other four members of the DA that went to the Ministry with Harry the preceding year, tries to protect the school when Harry and Dumbledore are away (Harry having given what is left of his Felix Felicis potion to her, Ron and Hermione). They, along with several members of the Order of the Phoenix end up fighting the Death Eaters that have entered the school aided by Draco Malfoy. She escapes without injury, telling Harry that "if we hadn't had your Felix potion, I think we'd all have been killed, but everything seemed to just miss us."
After the death of Hogwarts' Headmaster and Harry's mentor, Albus Dumbledore, Harry decides to end their relationship as he fears Lord Voldemort would use his feelings for Ginny against him, as Voldemort had previously done in the second book. Ginny accepts his decision, noting that given Harry's priorities she expected something like that to happen. She states that his noble streak is perhaps the feature which she finds most compelling about him. She also confides that she never gave up on him noticing her, and that Hermione advised her that if she started to relax around Harry, he might take more notice of her.
Though their time together was brief, Harry felt that being with Ginny made him "happier than he had been for a very long time", and considered it as being like "something out of someone else's life", no doubt a reference to the respite his relationship with her gave him from his duties as 'the Chosen One'. Ginny is also referred to as Harry's "best source of comfort". Despite this, Harry does not discuss his role in the war with her; Ginny is not told of the prophecy that indicates Harry's role as Voldemort's one true opponent nor of the information Dumbledore told him regarding Voldemort's past, which Dumbledore had instructed Harry only to reveal to Ron and Hermione.
Sample RP: Ginny looked around her. The corridor was empty. She opened her mouth to say the password, but the fat lady had swung open, almost knocking Ginny to the ground. She looked up to see none other than Dean Thomas. She glared and stood up quickly. Ginny pushed past Dean and made her way into the Common Rooms where she spotted Ronald. Her dearest brother. She grinned and snuck up behind him quietly. "Boo!" she yelled and watched Ron jump.
Ginny laughed and sat down. "Ah, Ron, still the same," she teased. She looked over to see who she sat down besides. Hermione. She sighed and leaned back into the chair. She was about to start talking when in through the portal came Harry. "Er...I've got to go," she said quickly. She grabbed her book bags and raced up the stairs to her dorm. Reaching for the handle she pushed open the door and slammed it shut behind her. No one was there thankfully.
Ginny threw her stuff ontop of her trunk and sat on her bed. "I'm never going to have courage to talk to him.." she muttered. She leaned back on her dark red pillows and closed her eyes. She stared out the window, where a few owls were fluttering about. She sighed. "I want to be free of this.." she groaned and turned when the door opened.
She looked up to see Hermione coming in. "Hey," she said glumly. Hermione nodded and sat down with her book. Ginny turned back to the window. So this was how her life was spent, running from Harry everyday because she was too nervous around him. She brushed back a long strand of her fire-red mane. Her glance switched over to where Arnold, her pygmy puff, sat on the window sill. Ginny smiled and picked him up gingerly and sat him down on her pillow. She watched him for a small amount of time before turning back to the window. Outside, the rain drummed steadily against her window.
She sighed and lay her head down in her hands, thinking over her day.
