Katie was heated up a bit when George touched her hips. A warm, red color rushed to her cheeks as she quickly looked away, making sure not to make a fool of herself. She chuckled. "You, my dear friend, are on," she challenged lightly. Katie laughed softly and danced like any muggle girl would, without the stripping and nudity of course. It was amazing at how good she was. No wonder she was chosen as chaser in her first year. She was quicker than anything or anyone.
She looked over at George who reminded her of her cousin that had never danced before. She chuckled inwardly and looked at him with a suspicious smile.

George danced with her somewhat awkwardly, thought making up for his lack of technique with his confidence. Seeing the small smile on her lips though, faded that a bit.
"What's so funny?"
He asked her, smiling. He knew that he wasn't the best dancer, and she was better then he expected. Was she embarrassed to be seen dancing with him. He didn't think so, not ever seeing her as the type to care about what other's think. He just kept on dancing as best he could, hoping that it would be enough for her. Maybe they should have gone somewhere more traditional for their first official date, like a pub or something. Maybe this club was a bit too much. Well, too late to go back now. George always knew Katie to be pretty outspoken, so if she wasn;t having a good time, then she would more then less likely tell him so.

Katie laughed. "You're doing a lot better than a lot of people i know, that's for sure," she grinned. Katie's brown eyes watched George. He was pretty good. She enjoyed herself, just not the strange muggles around her. She wondered whether or not she would see his family again. She hadn't seen any of the Weasley family besides these two twins in a LONG time.
The blond draped her arms around George's neck, pausing for a moment. She was a bit hot at the moment and sitting wouldn't help seeing that everyone was packed together. She grabbed George's hand and pulled him outside, away from the muggles and closer towards a small park that she saw nearby.

George smiled back down at her, wrapping his arms around her lowed back. The effort to get closer to her went un noticed, because in the next moment she was leading him out of the club, away from the booming music. The cool outdoor air washed over his face, and he had no time to protest in between the realization of how hot he actually was in the club due to the contrast of temperature, and their sudden change of scenery. He opened his mouth to protest
"What-- where are we going??"
He asked, befuddled. He guessed that she wasn't having as good of a time that he thought, or she would have wanted to stay longer. Though the date was still salvageable. The night was still young, and the two had never found it hard to find a good time, no matter where they were.

Katie giggled. "Shh, I'll show you just follow me." Katie knew this muggle part of England like she lived there her whole life..well she did technically. She walked down the sidewalk, George Weasley in tow. Her brown eyes finally rested on the environment before the two. It was a small grassy park. There was a swingset on the right, a pathway through the middle, and a jungle gym on the left. Katie chose to follow the pathway which went over a hill.
"Look," she said softly. Katie pointed to what the pathway held for the two. It was a pretty night. The moon reflected over the crystal water. Wait, water? Yes. The pathway lead to a beach. She went down, close to the shores and took a seat on the sand, but far from the water so they wouldn't get wet. She smiled at George, waiting for him to sit as well.

George followed her until they reached a small beach. He stopped at the line between the grass and the sand, looking out onto the water. He had never been to a beach before. It was so beautiful, the scenery breathtaking. He knew now why people often wrote about the beauty of the beach. After taking in the orange rays of the setting sun, George made his way over to where the blond girl was sitting, taking a seat next to her. He smiled at her, putting an arm around her small frame.
"This is really nice."
He said, leaning closer to her.

Katie leaned into his body, feeling his warmth and her warmth mix. Though, Katie wasn't very warm. She scooted closer, leaning her head on George's shoulder. "Yeah," she said softly. Her brown eyes searched his, hoping for something there. There were a lot of thoughts flooding her mind, but they cleared once she got this close to George. Katie smiled inwardly and let out a pleasant sigh.
She was glad this was the way things turned out rather than being rejected by the boy that she had loved for so long.

George moved closer, smiling down as he looked into her eyes. It was a beautiful night, but he just couldn't keep his eyes off of the young woman sitting next to him. He smiled, leaning his forehead on hers.
"I'm happy we left there"
He told her, referring to the night club. He thought about how silly it was to bring her there, the previously consumed alcohol making his vision blur slightly.
