The bright sun burst through the red and gold curtain's of Ginny's bedroom. Her room was almost like the Hogwarts Gryffindor Girls' Dormitories, except her bed was smaller and every wall was covered in posters of either the Holyhead Harpie quidditch team or of different creatures and those types of magical things. Above her head was the Holyhead Quidditch team posing for a fun picture which Ginny's brothers had bewitched to grow to the size of a normal poster. It hung proudly over Ginny's headboard where she lay sleeping beneath her red and gold sheets and comforter. Ginny's room was probably the second largest, next to her parents' room of course, but since she had been working at a few shops in Diagon Alley, Ginny had been making enough money to renovate her once blank and white room.
The young girl pushed back the covers of her bed, noting a small lump she had just covered up. She pulled back the comforter to discover Crookshanks' sleeping body. Ginny giggled and patted his head, jumping out of bed. She swung her legs over the side, pulling herself up onto the ground in a standing position. She let out a yawn and walked stiffly over to her wardrobe. Ginny grabbed a pair of jeans and pulled a short, green dress over the top of it. She grinned as she brushed her hair out before opening the door and calling to the cat to follow her. Ginny's thoughts flooded back to the previous night when she passed Ron and Harry's room. She carefully made her way down the stairs, sighing as she passed her grandmothers and grandfathers. Ginny shook her head and entered the empty kitchen. Everyone seemed to be either sleeping or gone already.
She opened the cabinet grabbing a box of cereal and opening the fridge for a carton of milk. She sat down at the table, summoning her sthingy and bowl with accio rather than getting it herself. She sat alone crunching the cereal, her eyes gazing at the open Potions textbook sitting in front of her.
